This area is dedicated those I am associated with on good terms. While I know, and may talk with more people, I carry a policy that if I am even an acquaintance of someone, I should at least know their last name. Most of the acquaintances are people I just met, but there could also be those that I might find hard to be really a friend due to age gaps. I am still nice to them, but what would I have in common with 60 year old, or a 5 year old? The younger would usually fall to a more subservient role, while the older would carry to a more dominant role even if advising - this is always with a great deal more experience than the other.
Most here however are those I just met, and had not had the time to get to know them. In which case, time and communication would take hold. I do not try to automatically consider someone a friend as I have come across many scam artists. If I get to know the person, then I would have a better idea of the quality of the person.
